Privacy Policy

1. Scope and who is responsible

This Privacy Policy explains how Snail Realm handles information when you use Dragon Phoenix: Card Duel, our websites, customer support, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). The Android application package name is com.snailrealm.dragonphoenix.

Snail Realm is the independent developer and publisher brand responsible for the Services. You can contact us using the details in Section 13.

2. Information we process

No real-money gambling or purchases. Dragon Phoenix: Card Duel uses virtual game coins only. It does not offer real-money gambling, cash prizes, or in-app purchases in the current release.

Website note. This website is a static site and does not intentionally set first-party advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may process limited network and security logs to deliver and protect the site.

Sensitive data. The Services are not designed to request precise location, contacts, health information, government identifiers, payment-card details, or other sensitive personal data. Please do not send sensitive information in support messages.

3. How we use information

We may use information to:

• operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services;
• provide game features, maintain server-side progress and leaderboards, validate match results, and grant earned virtual rewards;
• respond to support, privacy, and business enquiries;
• deliver, measure, limit, and prevent fraud in advertising;
• understand aggregated usage and technical performance; and
• comply with law and protect players, Snail Realm, and others.

Leaderboards: your game nickname, chosen built-in avatar, country code, virtual-coin total, and aggregate match statistics can appear to other players. The leaderboard service also returns a pseudonymous player identifier to associate records. Do not use a real name or sensitive information as your nickname if you do not want it displayed.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define disclosures used for personalized advertising as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising. Section 6 explains available controls.

4. Advertising, analytics, and third parties

Version 1.0.0 of the Android app uses Google AdMob directly for optional rewarded advertising and Google's User Messaging Platform for applicable privacy choices. AppLovin MAX mediation is not enabled in this release. The app checks the advertising consent status before requesting ads.

• Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads. Google may process IP address, device or account identifiers, product interactions, diagnostic information, and approximate location to provide, measure, personalize where permitted, and protect advertising. Review Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner apps.
• Reward verification. A pseudonymous player identifier and one-time reward verification value are sent to Google so a signed server callback can confirm a reward. Our server stores ad events and verification records to prevent duplicate or fraudulent rewards.
• Hosting and security. Our game database is hosted on DigitalOcean in the United States. Cloudflare delivers and protects the website and game API and processes network and security information. Review DigitalOcean’s Privacy Policy and Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

Advertising partners may use IP addresses, mobile identifiers, SDK storage, and similar technologies. Where required by law, the app will request consent before personalized advertising or relevant SDK processing begins. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect users or the Services, or in connection with a business reorganization subject to applicable safeguards.

5. Legal bases for processing

Where laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we rely on the legal basis appropriate to the purpose:

• Contract to provide requested game functionality and support.
• Legitimate interests to secure, debug, maintain, and improve the Services, prevent fraud, and understand performance, balanced against your rights.
• Consent for personalized advertising, identifiers, or device storage where consent is required. You may withdraw consent using available in-app, provider, or device controls.
• Legal obligation to meet applicable legal and privacy duties.

6. Your choices and controls

• Consent choices: where an advertising consent prompt is shown, you can choose the available options before personalized advertising begins.
• Device advertising controls: reset or delete the advertising identifier and limit ad personalization through Android settings, where available.
• Google advertising: review My Ad Center and Google account ad settings.
• In-app privacy choices: open Settings in the game lobby. Privacy policy and data deletion request links are always available. An additional advertising privacy-options button is shown when required by Google's consent system.
• Uninstall: uninstalling stops local app processing but does not automatically delete the guest profile and records stored on our server. See Section 11 to request deletion. Reinstalling does not guarantee recovery of the previous guest profile.

7. Data retention

We retain server-side guest profiles and progress while they are needed to provide the game, unless you request deletion. Local game data remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the app. We retain support and security records only as needed to handle requests, investigate abuse, resolve disputes, or comply with applicable legal requirements. See Section 11 for deletion requests and exceptions. Advertising and infrastructure providers apply their own retention policies.

8. Children’s privacy

Dragon Phoenix: Card Duel is intended for adults aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.

9. International data transfers

Service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we and our providers use recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

10. Security

The app communicates with our game API over HTTPS. We restrict administrative access and use server-side checks to protect game records and rewards. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of personal information; object to or withdraw consent for processing; opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing; and appeal a denied request. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

To make a privacy request, email sukaiqin1129@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity and jurisdiction. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.

Request deletion of Dragon Phoenix: Card Duel data

1. Open the game lobby, then Settings, and copy your Player ID. If you cannot open the game, tell us that in your request.
2. Email sukaiqin1129@gmail.com with the subject “Dragon Phoenix Data Deletion”, your Player ID if available, and whether you want all game data or specific records deleted. Do not send passwords or device credentials.
3. We will verify that the request relates to your data and respond in accordance with applicable law. The request does not require reinstalling the app.

Deletion covers your guest profile, virtual-coin balance and related history, match records, sign-in history, skill inventory, and linked game/ad activity held by Snail Realm. Deleted game progress cannot be restored for play. Limited records may need to be retained for fraud prevention, security, legal obligations, or resolving an outstanding dispute; if an exception applies, we will explain the data retained, the reason, and the applicable retention period when responding. Backup copies are not used for ongoing play and a deletion must also be respected if a backup is restored.

If Snail Realm does not hold data that can reasonably be linked to you, we may be unable to identify or delete data held independently by an advertising provider. In that case, use the provider’s privacy controls or contact it directly.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when the Services, SDKs, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
